The Bible Summary project for Adventist Schools
The Bible Summary project is an intiative of PNGUM Education Department.
The project, headed by PNGUM Associate director Education Serah Keliwin, allows students to thoroughly study the Bible by chapters.
It is the reading and summarising of one chapter of the Bible daily.
Mrs Keliwin gave 13 copies of the study schedule to team leaders according to their areas of study. The project began on April 1 and ends in October when the academic year ends.
Bibles were also given to students who did not have one.
PNG Union Mission president Pr Kepsie Elodo launched the project for the Adventist students studying in University of Technology in Lae.
He told the students that young people must be the “the force behind the Gospel” and they must know Jesus better enough to share Him with others.
He also said: “Continue to read the Bible and Jesus will reveal himself to you.
He thanked student leaders and Mrs Keliwin for working together to bring the project to the university.
