Papua New Guinea Union Mission of Seventh-day Adventist Church



Papua New Guinea Union Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has the membership of more than 297,867. It covers the entire landmass of Papua New Guinea with a total population of more than 8 million. The Neational office is located in Lae, Coronation drv. 

There are 1,023 Churches in PNGUM. PNGUM plays an administrative and supervisory role to Central Papua Conference, Bougainville, Eastern Highlands Simbu, Madang Manus, Morobe, New Britain New Ireland, Northern and Milne Bay, Sepik, South West Papua, and Western Highlands Missions. There are other supporting independent entities operating under the banner of PNGUM - educational and health institutions are main services providers to the communities with the support of the ministry deparment.

Seventh-day Adventists in Papua New Guinea have been urged to pray for the 2017 National General Elections.

The Bible Summary project is an intiative of PNGUM Education Department for students to read and summarise one chapter of the Bible daily.
